More
Increasing donor awareness
is a cause that Mr. Conte, a two-time kidney
transplant recipient, has helped spearhead
in Albany. To date, the assemblyman has
seen several of his bills signed into law,
which will make it easier for potential
donors to sign up on the state’s organ
and tissue donor list and that helps spread
awareness about the growing need for life-saving
organ and tissue donors. For his work, Assemblyman
Conte was recently presented the Spirit
Award at Shea Stadium.
